COSH Policies

1. Health and Safety Policy

At COSH, we place health and safety at the core of everything we do. As an accreditation body, we are committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for our employees, partners, learners, and all stakeholders associated with our operations.

  • We comply with all applicable occupational health and safety legislation, regulations, and international standards.
  • We actively identify, assess, and manage risks to prevent accidents, injuries, and work-related ill health.
  • We promote a culture of prevention, encouraging staff and partners to take responsibility for their own safety and the safety of others.
  • We provide ongoing training and resources to ensure our team and partners are competent in maintaining safe practices.
  • We continually review and improve our systems to enhance workplace safety and wellbeing.

Our goal is zero harm, and we believe that safety is a shared responsibility at every level.

2. Quality Policy

Since our establishment in 2019, our priority has been to uphold the highest levels of quality and trust in accreditation services.

  • We ensure that our processes, assessments, and certifications meet international standards and industry best practices.
  • We commit to impartiality, fairness, and transparency in all accreditation activities.
  • We regularly monitor and review our operations to identify areas for improvement.
  • We encourage feedback from partners, learners, and stakeholders to enhance our services.
  • We invest in continuous professional development for our staff and partners to maintain competence and excellence.

Our mission is to deliver reliable, recognized, and respected qualifications that build credibility and confidence globally.

3. Impartiality Policy

Impartiality is fundamental to our credibility as an accreditation body.

  • All accreditation decisions are based solely on objective evidence of compliance with standards.
  • We strictly avoid conflicts of interest and ensure our staff, assessors, and partners act independently.
  • Any identified risk to impartiality is immediately reviewed, managed, and documented.
  • Staff and partners must declare any potential conflicts of interest before engaging in accreditation activities.

We are committed to maintaining neutrality, fairness, and objectivity at all times.

4. Data Protection and Confidentiality Policy

We recognize our responsibility to protect sensitive information provided by learners, partners, and clients.

  • We collect, store, and process data only for legitimate business purposes and in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
  • Confidential information will not be shared with third parties unless required by law or authorized by the client.
  • Access to personal and organizational data is restricted to authorized personnel only.
  • We use secure systems to protect against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse of data.
  • All staff and partners are required to sign confidentiality agreements as part of their role.

Protecting data is essential to maintaining trust and integrity in our operations.

5. Equal Opportunities and Diversity Policy

We are committed to providing equal opportunities and promoting diversity across all areas of our work.

  • We do not tolerate discrimination based on race, gender, age, disability, religion, or background.
  • All learners, partners, and employees will be treated fairly, respectfully, and with dignity.
  • We ensure that our qualifications and services are accessible and inclusive.
  • We encourage diversity of thought, talent, and experience to enrich our organization.

Fairness and inclusivity are at the heart of our accreditation practices.

6. Environmental Policy

We recognize the importance of sustainability and environmental responsibility.

  • We are committed to reducing waste, conserving resources, and minimizing our environmental impact.
  • We promote digital documentation to reduce paper usage and carbon footprint.
  • We encourage our staff, learners, and partners to adopt eco-friendly practices.
  • We comply with environmental laws and regulations relevant to our operations.

Our long-term goal is to operate in a way that supports a healthier planet for future generations.

7. Code of Ethics Policy

We uphold the highest ethical standards in all our activities.

  • Honesty, integrity, and professionalism guide every decision we make.
  • Staff, partners, and learners are expected to avoid misconduct and conflicts of interest.
  • We will not tolerate bribery, corruption, or fraudulent behavior.
  • Ethical considerations are integrated into our accreditation and assessment practices.

Breaches of this code will result in disciplinary action, including termination of contracts or accreditation. Our reputation depends on the ethical conduct of everyone representing us.

8. Fraud Policy

Fraud undermines trust, credibility, and safety — and is strictly prohibited.

  • Fraud includes forgery of certificates, submission of false information, bribery, collusion, misrepresentation, or misuse of accreditation logos.
  • All staff, learners, and partners must act honestly and transparently.
  • Suspected fraud must be reported immediately to [fraud@yourcompany.com].
  • All reports will be investigated promptly, fairly, and confidentially.

Proven cases will result in severe consequences: withdrawal of accreditation, cancellation of certificates, permanent bans, and legal action if necessary. We are committed to protecting the integrity of our qualifications and the trust of our stakeholders.
